5XP Engineering Limited was established in 2016 with the objective to provide bespoke software services.
Using our wealth of knowledge and experience, gleaned from working within a wide range of industries, we can tailor software to meet your exact requirements.
Our projects have been diverse and have included a myriad of industries. We have an extensive skill set and understand the food and beverages industry, the pharmaceuticals and chemical industries and have had involvement with projects for the Ministry of Defence. This list is not exhaustive, yet we hope it will demonstrate our capabilities.
We are able to provide complete solutions to your specifications. We can also offer specialist services to other control systems companies, to provide bespoke solutions in automation technology.
5XP Engineering Limited provide specialist software design, ranging from PLC, HMI and SCADA systems in conjunction with SQL Server database design and bespoke Microsoft© .NET Framework applications on a range of platforms and operating systems. We also design and build embedded control systems using RTOS and PC/104 architecture. We support Linux©, Microsoft© Windows and VX Works.

Control System Design
5XP Engineering Limited design all aspects of control systems for use within automation, for a wide range of industries.
Additionally, we can supply all electrical drawings using AutoCAD© Electrical, with a complete inventory of equipment including all technical specifications.
5XP Engineering Limited can also manufacture control systems in conjunction with our supply partners. All control systems comply with all current regulations and are CE marked.
PLC Hardware Design & Software
5XP Engineering Limited can design PLC hardware, including network topology to our customer's requirements, whether it be distributed control, dual redundancy or a basic system with local I/O.
5XP Engineering Limited specialise in Siemens PLC systems but we also use Rockwell, Omron, Mitsubishi, Schneider and many others.
HMI/SCADA
5XP Engineering Limited can design SCADA and HMI systems to customer's specifications ranging from basic applications through to extensive and complex systems featuring logging, trending (historical & real time trending) with extended bespoke controls to suit all applications.
5XP Engineering Limited use a wide range of HMI/SCADA systems including Mitsubishi MAPS, Wonderware, Siemens WinCC and Rockwell Factory Talk. 5XP Engineering Limited is an authorised Systems Integrator for Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA System.

SQL databases can be built and designed, specifically tailored to meet our customer's requirements.
Whether it be a small bespoke application to an extensible cloud service with multiple users and data analytics, 5XP Engineering Limited can provide the solution.
Microsoft .Net
Bespoke applications within the Microsoft© .Net framework encompassing all aspects such as C++, C#, Azure, ASP.Net, Windows Services to name a few, can be designed and tailored to your exact requirements.
5XP Engineering Limited specialise in recipe management systems and associated scheduling in a batching system environment.
RTOS using VX Works
5XP Engineering Limited design and build embedded Real Time Operating Systems using PC/104 and VX Works technology, which incorporate failsafe and redundant failover system integrity.
